A damaged underground pipe can be very costly when digging up your homes foundation, flooring, decks, landscaping, trees and other costly property. But using our trenchless pipelining can eliminate the costly demolition and destruction caused by digging, using CIPP (Cured-in-place-pipe) which has been in use for over 30 years around the country. Trenchless pipelining works on all types of plumbing pipes found here in Brandon homes and business including PVC pipe, CPVC, cast iron, stainless steel, copper, clay, Orangeberg and galvanized steel. We offer a few different products to rehab or reline your pipes depending on the diameter and material of the existing pipe. The products we use all exceed ASTM specifications to last a minimum of 50 years. We can install a pipe liner to replace or rehabilitate any pipes underground. The most common problem we see here in Brandon is corroded pipes with roots growing inside. In the past, when a home or business owner had a corroded pipe with roots growing inside, the only option was to dig up the damaged section of pipe, which usually went underneath a concrete foundation, swimming pool, lanai, garage or driveway. This excavation / demolition dramatically increased the cost of the actual pipe repair. Well, that costly demolition is no longer required due to advances in trenchless pipelining over the past 30 years. We can now repair or rehabilitate your existing damaged pipes, and get them in brand new condition without tearing up your property and causing thousands of dollars in repair work.
Installation of Trenchless PipeliningInstallation of CIPP or trenchless pipelining takes as little as 2-3 hours plus drying / curing time. The first step in any pipelining project is to send a video camera down the pipe to find the problem and evaluate what type of materials will be needed. Next, the pipe is prepped and cleaned so the pipe liner has a clean and smooth surface to bond too. Next, the materials are cut and setup (liner material is saturated with a mixture of high strength epoxy resins). Next, the liner is pulled or pushed into place using a pulley system or air pressure depending on the situation. Once, the pipe liner is in place over the damaged pipe, a balloon like device is inflated inside of the pipe liner, causing the liner to press and bond to the original host pipe. After 3 hours or drying and curing the balloon is removed and the new pipe is inspected for proper coverage and installation. If it passes inspection, the water can be turned on and tested. The average installation from start to finish is usually 5-6 hours total. To get a free estimate on pipelining or pipe rehab, give us a call 888-253-1320.
